How it works

From question to funding, in six steps

Start with the answer. Talk to a real person. Apply once, properly.

See if you qualify →No credit check to enquire

Most business loan journeys go wrong in the same place: an owner fills in a form, the details get sprayed across a panel of lenders, the phone rings non-stop, and several credit checks land on the file before anyone has understood the business. We built this process to avoid exactly that.

  1. 1

    1. Find the general answer (optional)

Read the short answer to your question, browse the library or let the loan navigator ask you five quick questions. No details required.

  2. 2

    2. Send a 60-second enquiry

Amount, purpose, state, turnover, property and any credit or tax issues. There's no credit check when you first enquire.

  3. 3

    3. A real person reads it

A lending specialist reviews your enquiry. It isn't auctioned, sold or blasted out to a list of lenders.

  4. 4

    4. The first call

They fill any gaps, then explain the realistic route — secured or unsecured, likely amount, what lenders will look at and which documents matter.

  5. 5

    5. Apply once, if you choose to

Only when you decide to go ahead: one formal application to the right lender, usually with a credit check at this point, with your consent.

  6. 6

    6. Offer, signing, funding

You review the offer and every cost in writing, sign, and funds are paid — to you, or straight to the ATO, a supplier or lenders being paid out.

What makes this different?

  • Answers before forms. You can understand your options before you share a single detail — through the question library or the loan navigator.
  • No credit check to ask. Your credit file is untouched until you decide to apply.
  • No spray-and-pray. One team, one conversation, one well-matched application.
  • A real person. Someone reads your enquiry and calls you. Not a bot, not an auction.

What will the specialist ask on the first call?

What the money is for and when you need it, how the business trades, what's already owed (including to the ATO), whether any property could be used as security, and anything on your credit history worth knowing. The more precise your answers, the more useful theirs. For the detail, see what happens after you enquire and what documents you'll need.

Questions about the process

Does enquiring affect my credit score?

No. There's no credit check when you first enquire or on the first call. A credit check usually happens only if you decide to proceed with a formal application, and only with your consent.

Will my details be sent to lots of lenders?

No. Your enquiry stays with one team. A real person works out what makes sense before any lender is approached, so you won't be flooded with calls.

How long does the whole process take?

It depends mainly on the route and how quickly documents and signatures come together. Unsecured loans involve fewer steps; property-secured loans add valuation, legal documents and settlement.

What should I have ready for the first call?

Your amount and purpose, rough monthly turnover, a list of existing debts, your tax position and, if relevant, property details. Documents can come later.

Do I have to go ahead after the call?

No. The call is to understand your situation and explain options. Nothing formal happens unless you choose to proceed.

Why do you ask me to fill in the form accurately?

Because accurate answers — especially amount, purpose, turnover, property and any credit or tax issues — let us point you to the right option on the first call rather than the third.
